Drive Time Essays
Drive Time Essays are quick and essential listening or reading. The
following links to the UUA website provide an overview of what is
available.
Drive Time Essays Disc #1: Tools for the Lay Leaders
Unitarian Universalists (UUs) from all walks of life; ministers, lay
leaders, Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) staff members—were
invited to share bits of wisdom about how to lead vital, healthy UU
congregations. The result is this Disc with 21 essays, each about three
minutes long, each addressing some aspect of congregational leadership.
Drive Time Essays Disc #2: The Best of Interconnections
This Disc, the second in our series, contains audio essays written by
Don Skinner, the editor of
InterConnections; the much respected newsletter for leaders
of Unitarian Universalist congregations. These 19 essays are between 2
and 6 minutes long.
Drive Time Essays Disc #3: Small Congregations
Drive Time #3 focuses on smaller congregations—those that have fewer
than 150 members—and many that have fewer than 50 or 75. There are more
than 600 small congregations within our Association. And much of the
wisdom included will be equally helpful to mid-size and larger
congregations.
