A. Safe Congregations Policy

Motion: Implement Safe Churches Policy effective September 1st, 2007. Jon Waalkes, Suzie MacKeigan 2nd. 10 yes, 0 no.

Motion: BOT appointed committee to shepherd the Safe Churches Policy toward implementation, listen to and inform the congregation with regard to the policy and recommend continuous improvement of the policy to the BOT. David Soet, Mike Arents 2nd. 10 yes, 0 no.

David Soet and Suzie MacKeigan to facilitate the committee.

B. Bookkeeper

a. Susan Zadel will be contracted for the position

b. Susan will start effective June 1st, 2007.

Action Item: Tom VanDragt will check references

Action Item: David Soet will check bonding insurance

C. Resignation of Tom VanDragt from role of President and as trustee.

Motion: Jon Waalkes to serve as acting President of the Board of Trustees, effective immediately, until December congregational meeting. Jen Hall, Suzie MacKeigan 2nd. 10 yes, 0 no.

Motion: Jen Hall to serve as Trustee, effective July 1st 2007, until December congregational meeting. Jon Waalkes, Suzie MacKeigan 2nd. 10 yes, 0 no.

Steve Compton will accept the role of VP of Finance beginning July 1st, 2007. This appointment will need to be passed by the incoming BOT after July 1st, 2007.
