The Adult Education Board is responsible for providing a variety of educational programs for adult members of the All Souls Community Church and for the West Michigan community at large. Programs are intended to support the mission of All Souls - to celebrate and cultivate the spirit, to educate and inform the community, to promote a sense of inquiry, moral character, insight, religious freedom, and helpfulness to humanity. Programs are open to members, friends and visitors. Past programming has included: · Community forums on a variety of topics including Evolution, the First Amendment, and Public Education in West Michigan. These are generally a series of three to six related presentations by one or several presenters. · Sermon + lecture series presented by nationally known Unitarian Universalist leaders · Trips to Unitarian Universalist sites to explore our Unitarian Universalist heritage. A variety of other programs are under consideration including book groups, yoga, meditation groups and retreats.
