MUSIC AND CHOIR
Our music department at All Souls Community Church is filled with joy and centered on diversity and fellowship. Music lifts the spirit at All Souls, and serves to enhance worship. From the youngest child to the adult, from instrumentalists to singers, there is a welcome place for everyone.
A wide variety of music awaits the Sunday attendee. One might hear keyboard, flute, cello, bass and oboe; a fine Adult Choir, an engaging Children’s Choir, or a large Instrumental Ensemble. Music from Bach to the Beatles and everything in between form the basis of repertoire.
The Music Department consists of three major groups: The Adult Choir meeting weekly on Thursday evenings 7-9 pm at Ahavas, the Instrumental Ensemble, directed by Vicki Lane-MacConnell meeting Sunday mornings, and the Young Souls Choir for children, rehearsing Sunday mornings before service at 9:45 am. Extra performance opportunities include the Christmas Cantata, Choir Exchanges with other churches and Music Sunday. Music is alive and soaring at All Souls!
